BIBLE TRIP · YOUR INFORMATION
Terms of Service
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Bible Trip, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. You must give an accurate email address, verify it with the six-digit code we send, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
What Bible Trip provides
Bible Trip gives you Bible reading plans, a reader with offline access, reminders, progress tracking and personal notes. The service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features in future, we will make the price and terms clear before you are charged.
We may add, change or remove features to improve the service, and we may occasionally take it offline for maintenance.
Scripture and copyright
Bible translations are made available in the app for your personal reading and study. Each translation remains the property of its respective publisher or rights holder, and is used according to its own copyright and licensing terms.
You may not extract, copy, redistribute, resell or republish the Bible text or the underlying data files from this service, in whole or in substantial part.
Your content
Notes and highlights you create remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store them, sync them across your devices, and show them back to you. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train AI systems.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the service;
- attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, or probe, scan or breach our security;
- scrape, bulk-download or reverse engineer the service, or use automated tools to extract its content;
- disrupt the service, overload our systems, or interfere with other users;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.
Reminders and email
When you set reading reminders, you are asking us to notify you at those times. We will also send essential account emails, such as your verification code. You can change reminders in the app at any time.
Availability and accuracy
We work hard to keep the service available and the Scripture text accurate, and we actively review our Bible data for errors. Even so, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or completely free of errors.
For study where precision is critical, please check against a printed or publisher edition of your translation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bible Trip is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Bible Trip and delete your account at any time, either in the app or from our account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or its users at risk, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use Daily Bread after that means you accept the updated terms.
